Institute for Global Initiatives

The Polk State College Institute for Global Initiatives is designed to provide multicultural and transnational educational opportunities and experiences for Polk State students living and working in an increasingly globally connected society.

Polk State has a growing number of programs to enhance and expand international exposure and perspectives. The programs present opportunities that include taking global designated courses, studying abroad, interning abroad, and attending on-campus international events. Students who participate in these programs can now earn credit towards the Global Studies Program for recognition on their diploma.
